Insight: The Business of Community

No man is an island entire of itself —John Donne (1624). There’s no denying the inherent human need for connection, and the great power of the collective. This month we bring you a topic that, alongside Commerce and Culture, is a mainstay of The Office Space’s mission statement: Community.  We have called on three experts to explore how to create communities of influence in the real world, the rules of engagement in the digital world, and how to cultivate an effective culture in the workplace.

  • Councillor Jess Scully – City of Sydney Deputy Chair of the Cultural and Creative Sub-Committee, Founding Curator of Vivid Ideas;
  • Wiet Prium – Regional Director Quest Worldwide, Specialist in transforming business culture and performance through people;
  •  Stuart Chater – Digital Community Consultant, working across brands such as Coca Cola, ANZ Bank and Optus.

When: Tuesday 26th September, drinks from 5.30pm (panel discussion from 6-7pm)

Where: Golden Age Cinema and Bar Cost: FREE to first 10 Office Space residents / $25 for general public

Tickets: Buy your ticket here Insight by The Office Space is now proud to partner with the Sydney Community Foundation (SCF). For each Insight we host, we will be sending one disadvantaged women through the SCF’s Women’s Business Incubator Program.
