Table: Paramount Rooftop Kiosk

The Paramount building’s rooftop boasts a worthy goal; to be a ‘place that makes sense in our modern lives’. Right Angle Studio has taken this idea to an utterly sensible extreme in creating projects within the building and the greater city that sees its visitors engage with their own properties of health, fitness and intelligent entertainment unlike many other establishments in Sydney.

For Table this month, and in keeping with the theme of Property and its history of booms and busts in Australia, we have chosen to shine a culinary light on The Rec Club Kiosk upstairs. With a menu, both visually beautiful and full of health benefits, the Kiosk’s offerings and atmosphere create an idyllic pause; not so much an escape from the worries of life, but an encouragement to shape one’s own reality within this fast-developing, ever-evolving city of Sydney.

We recommend the Gado Bowl, Indonesian-style marinated tempeh salad, pickled carrot, lacto-fermented sauerkraut, cucumber, bean sprouts, house-made peanut satay, coriander, and a Papanui soft boiled egg served on brown rice. The Californian Tofu Burrito satisfies a yearning for Cali culture with marinated tofu, black beans, fresh avocado, pico de gallo, smoked cheddar, pickled carrots, coriander salsa, and fermented hot sauce.

When: Thursday 8th August, 12:30-1:20pm
Where: Level 2, Paramount House (80 Commonwealth Street). Take the lift on the ground floor, just past the café.
What: Confirm your attendance with us, and your lunch order.  We will shout you a juice or kombucha.
